Ruaha National Park Overview

Ruaha National Park is Tanzania's largest national park and one of Africa's finest wilderness destinations. Located in southern Tanzania, it offers vast untouched landscapes, remarkable wildlife densities and far fewer visitors than the famous northern parks.

The park is especially famous for its enormous elephant population, large lion prides, African wild dogs, leopards and over 570 recorded bird species.
